Wik Group, a global German company, stated that they wanted to expand their supplier pool in Turkey, therefore they were looking for new suppliers from our country, and stated that they wanted to reach out to BEYSAD in the past months and conduct a study to find quality suppliers.

Wik Group, a leading OEM/ODM supplier especially in coffee brewing systems and small household appliances, has its production facilities in the Far East and its R&D center in Germany, but as of 2018, its Macedonia Factory, which produces mostly for the EU market, was opened. In this factory, where there are over 400 employees, the final product that is sent to the final customer is produced. Its main customers include Nestle De Longi, Straus Watter, Bosch, Heineken, GHD and many more brands.

The request letter of Wik Group, which was looking for new suppliers for its factories in Macedonia, was first shared with all BEYSAD members, and among the companies that responded, Group officials personally responded with a short list.

Based on the relevant invitation list, 2 officials held meetings with 11 BEYSAD member company officials. Our members were led in the meetings by Mr Zhimin Dai – Head of Global Commodity and Mr Goce Trpovski – Sourcing Manager EU.

The meetings were completed simultaneously in 2 different meeting rooms at BEYSAD Headquarters on Thursday, April 18, 2024, for 40 minutes each. In addition to BEYSAD Office officials, BEYSAD Board Member Mrs. Begüm Atalay Yu and proxy Ersin Özgüler hosted the guests. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
