TAİDER Family Businesses Association and BEYSAD White Goods Suppliers’ Industry Association collaborated to organize the “TAIDER North Star: Sustainability in Family Companies Program Introductory Meeting” where the updated content, contributions in family businesses and the conditions for joining the program of the North Star Sustainability in Family Companies Program were handled.

The event took place online on July 12, 2021 Monday at 16.00 P.M. and was attended by around 30 people. It took off with the welcome speech given by BEYSAD President Ş. Burak Özaydemir who drew attention to the benefits of the project. He was followed by TAIDER Sustainability and Social Responsibility Co-Chair Ece Elbirlik Ürkmez and Committee Co-Chairs Gülfem Yorgancılar Perçin and Committee Members Dr. İzel Levi Coşkun and Osman Aytaman who provided detailed information on the content and technical course of the project.

The meeting was very efficient for our members who are running family businesses and who want to have a development report in the corporate management, employees, business model, environment, family, and future generations domains and who want to update the roadmaps of their companies in their sustainability journey.
