The Metallic Stars of Export Award Ceremony, organized by the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association to honor the successful exporters who contributed to the sector in 2022, was held at Raffles Hotel.

The Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (IDDMIB), which evaluates suggestions and activities that will improve exports at the meetings and workshops held with the representatives of the leading companies and associations of the sector, works on how to bring such suggestions to life, and determines the problems experienced in the sectors and creates solutions awarded the Metallic Stars who contributes to the success of the sector with a ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by İDDMİB President of the Board Çetin Tecdelioğlu and attended by Deputy Minister of Commerce Özgür Volkan Ağar, TİM Vice President Adil Pelister, TİM Board Members Başaran Bayrak and Salih Zeki Poyraz, TİM Accounting Member Mustafa Şenocak, Export General Manager Mehmet Ali Küçükkaya, ISO Assembly Member İsmail Gülle, İHBİR President of the Board Kazım Taycı, İDDMİB Vice Presidents Sevgür Arslanpay and Talha Özger, Packaging Committee President Zeki Sarıbekir, Kibar Holding CEO Haluk Kayabaşı, EVSID Founding President Burak Önder and many member companies.

• Copper Wire and Knitted Ropes Winner: Sarkuysan
• Cast Kitchenware Winner: Lava
• Products Made of Iron and Steel Winner: Vestel
• Products Made of Iron and Steel Second Place: Haier
• Armature, Valve, Tap, Plumbing Equipment and Valve Second Place: Turaş

We were represented by Deniz Yasemin Aksu, our President of the Board of Directors, and Aysegul Koc, the Secretary General of the Association, to which we were invited as the White Goods Suppliers’ Association (BEYSAD). We had the opportunity to come together with many of our members at the ceremony where we were congratulated within the scope of “Non-Governmental Organizations Supporting the Sector”.
