Can we get to know you?
I was born in 1996 and I am from Eskişehir. I graduated from Izmir University of Economics - Industrial Engineering in 2019. I had the opportunity to work in the optimization of energy resources and process quality processes used in my education process. In addition, I am a member of the Board of Directors of Temiziş Ofset & Digital - our family company established in 1957.
When did your paths cross with your company?
I have worked as much as possible within our company throughout my education life. While I was studying at the university in Izmir, I started working on process improvement and production line balancing in our Manisa branch. After graduating, I continued my studies in the production department of the Eskişehir Headquarters.
Could you give us some information about your company and its operations?
Temiziş Ofset & Digital was founded in 1957 and started its corporate business partnerships in 2004 and is a company that has developed itself from the past to the present and progressed by growing.
We can list our product portfolio as labels, user manuals, exam booklets, warranty cards and grouped products.
In recent years, we have been increasing our capacity with the machinery investments we have made by following the technology, and we continue by expanding our business partnerships.
We take care to spread the awareness and culture of sustainability by using environmentally friendly raw materials for a better future.
In line with our target, raw materials with high FSC and Ecolabel certificates are used in our production.
Could you give us information about the organizational structure of your company?
Our company has an organizational structure in which the departments covering our business processes, starting from the Board of Directors, report to our general manager. We maintain a goal-oriented work with the manager of each of our departments. Sustainability, transparency, fair management are among the issues that we follow and try to improve ourselves.
We manage the processes with a total of around 220 colleagues. We attach great importance to gender equality in our workplace. Our female coworkers constitute approximately 55% of our total team.
Which sectors do you serve?
When we look at the sector, we can serve every sector that includes paper and label products, but it would be more accurate to give an example from the sectors that we specialize in and have been in cooperation for years.
White goods, automotive, water heating and air conditioning, building products and industry are among the sectors we work with. We also offer services in the field of education.
Can you talk about your export rates and which country you export to the most?
A high percentage of our customer portfolio consists of companies in Turkey. We export some product groups to Slovakia and England.
What are the features that set you apart from your competitors?
As Temiziş Ofset & Digital, we are a 65-year-old printing company that has adopted customer satisfaction as a principle.
In the printing industry, we aim to keep customer satisfaction at the highest level by providing high quality products with innovative, original and practical solutions, by providing a fast response to customer demands throughout Turkey.
The service we offer to our customers is not only to deliver products, but to move forward together in our business partnership. Thanks to this approach, we distinguish ourselves from our competitors and are in long-term cooperation.
Other features that distinguish us from our competitors are our high production capacity, product diversity, being a part of digital transformation and supporting sustainable life. However, our ability to respond quickly to requests from different sectors with our machinery and experience brings us to the fore.
Can we get information about your new investment and R&D efforts?
We focus all of our new investments on digitalization. Our 2 digital printing lines have been activated in the last 2 years. These investments, which increase our capacity by approximately 80%, provide us with flexibility in production, reducing the transition time from work to work, and producing quality products, in addition to capacity.
In addition, our label production line is also installed with digital machines, allowing us to print variable data. The increase in stock costs and the increase in the variety of production quantities make our production method very valuable in this field.
With the pandemic and the war, how was the year 2022?
The pandemic has affected us all, both positively and negatively. We encountered scenarios that we did not foresee in terms of raw material supply and production, but with the deep-rooted history and experience of our company, we survived the pandemic period without any problems.
Contrary to the expected situation, we had a period in which our production capacity increased. Especially in the white goods sector, there has been a high increase in our production numbers compared to previous years.
Thanks to the measures taken in our company in the face of the corona virus pandemic and the machinery investments we have made, we have been able to respond to customer demands with the same devotion.
What are your projections and risk factors for 2023? Do you have any special preparations or precautions regarding the earthquake?
In 2023, we target a growth of nearly 80% in exports. Turkey's strategic position is very advantageous in being the most important production center in Europe, especially in labels and flexible packaging. However, the restrictions on the financial side and the continuation of the problem of access to cash negatively affect companies like us in terms of investment.
On February 6, unfortunately, we witnessed one of the biggest natural disasters our country has ever seen. Unfortunately, the impact and pain of this disaster is huge and I don't think it will ever leave our lives. In order to complete the needs and wounds in the region, the sensitivity and attention at the time of the earthquake should still continue. It is a pity that we still cannot get permanent solutions in this position where we are geographically disadvantaged. Years pass, we experience the same natural disasters, but we cannot learn from them and produce permanent solutions with the unity of mind. I hope this will be the end and we will continue to work with all sensitivity to heal these wounds and prevent them from reopening as a country.
How do you see the development of Industry 4.0 in Turkey? Do you have any studies or precautions regarding digitalization?
It is impossible not to follow the advancing technology in the age of innovation we live in. I think that companies that do not keep up with the trend in the digitalization process in our country will be left behind in the market and will not be able to resist in the competitive market.
The biggest reason for our machinery investments has been the improvements we have made in terms of production in our business processes with Industry 4.0.
With the digitalization process, we have had the opportunity to increase efficiency, produce quality products, respond quickly to customer demands and develop sustainable solutions.
As Temiziş, our goal is to increase our Industry 4.0 efforts in the journey of digital transformation.
What are your views on BEYSAD and what are your expectations from BEYSAD?
BEYSAD (White Goods Suppliers Association), which is united by more than one sector, offers us an incredible accumulation of knowledge and experience. We are very happy and proud to be in this association. It is one of our biggest goals to add value to our country by benefiting from the future position of white goods, which is one of the most important production branches of our country, from the improvements in the same sector abroad and from the new collaborations that will arise with it.
For this reason, BEYSAD is a very good opportunity for us, the suppliers that procure products to the main industry, to continuously develop and catch up with the trends. I wish our association to achieve many successes.
