GETEK, a company that stands out with its innovative built-in oven, stove and hood electronic control systems developed for the white goods sector, took an important step and participated in SAHA Expo - the Original and National defense industry fair. This prestigious fair is a platform where the leading companies of the defense industry meet and where the most innovative solutions and pioneering technologies of the age are exhibited.

GETEK stood out with its rise in the defense and IT industry at SAHA Expo. The fair showcased the launch of ThinClient and Desktop Virtualization project which is supported by the TÜBİTAK 1501 Program and will be the first domestic and national product in the sector. The participants and sector representatives showed great interest. In his presentation, the company CEO Murat Tamer explained in detail the technical features of the project and the multi-faceted advantages it offers to the civilian and defense industry. The ThinClient project stands out as an attractive alternative for institutions and companies looking for data security and cost efficiency. This technology reduces installation costs by half compared to conventional computer systems and meets data security requirements with strict measures, and plays an important role in protecting sensitive data in the defense industry. Projects that offer security solutions, especially in the defense industry, are of vital importance for strategically important companies and institutions.

The ThinClient project emerged as a result of GETEK's R&D studies spanning many years and was developed with the support of TÜBİTAK. This technology stands out with its environmentally friendly aspect while providing cost savings and prioritizes energy efficiency. Considering the high installation and energy costs of conventional systems, the project provides significant advantages to institutions and businesses both economically and operationally. It creates significant savings by enabling the reuse of idle computers in institutions' warehouses, and also supports the reduction of carbon footprint.

The positive feedback received from SAHA Expo has created a great source of morale and motivation for the company.
