Curent Metal, the Romanian subsidiary of Akım Metal, operating within A Group, one of Turkey's well-established industrial companies, celebrated its 5th anniversary with great enthusiasm with a special event. The celebration event hosted by A Group Companies President of the Board of Directors Mr. Mustafa Böyet and other company officials was attended by a number of esteemed individuals including Bucharest Ambassador Mr. Özgür Kıvanç Altan, DÂMBOVIŢA Province Provincial Council President Mr. Corneliu Ştefan, Arctic CEO Mr. Murat Büyükerk, DEIK Turkey Business Council President Mr. Ömer Süsli, and TİAD President Mr. Ufuk Tandoğan.

Curent Metal started operating in the Sat Bungetu - Dâmbovița region of Romania 5 years ago under the umbrella of A Group Companies. The company has reached an important position in the sector by producing with metal processing (mechanical processing and pressing), aluminum injection and plastic injection processes for the white goods and automobile sectors.

The R&D center, established within A Group in 2011 with the incentives of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, has enabled the company to develop new products, increase its R&D activities and make a difference in the market. Curent Metal, whose construction in Romania started in 2017 and was completed in January 2019, entered the European market with the aim of becoming a leading component manufacturer in all industrial fields, especially white goods and automotive.
