BEYSAD visits CES Fair, GEA, Samsung, Electrolux, and BSH during USA tour
8 - 17 January 2020

BEYSAD visited 4 different main industries after attending the CES-Las Vegas Fair on January 8-17, 2020 with a group of 21 people from 14 member companies in order to learning more about the US white goods market and had the chance to discuss about 2020 plans and supplier expectations and have B2B meetings with the purchasing executives of the companies.

First of all, we would like to thank Atasan, Borçelik, De-Ka Elektroteknik, Ekinler, Endel, Ferel Eektronik, Hatko, Normsan, Nova Elektrik, San Metal, Tanatar, Technocast, Tekno Kauçuk and Turaş Gas executives for their attendance and all the main industry executives who organized these efficient meetings for us for their warm welcome and hospitality and their effectively designed meeting programs.

About the organization, BEYSAD President Ş. Burak Özaydemir stated: “BEYSAD gives so much attention to the United States of America as it is the world’s largest white goods market in line with our vision to make Turkey a global white goods technology and production base. With our Committee organized for the third time this year, we visited Las Vegas CES Fair to follow global technology trends as well as main industry headquarters to understand their expectations.

CES Fair is strenghtening its position as a global leader to observe the future trends and intersectoral convergence and interaction in a wide variety that includes white goods, electronics, automotive, information technology and start-ups. We think it makes a crucial contribution to enable companies to think about today but also dream the future. As for the main industry visits, we can say that they contribute by enabling us to talk about companies’ expectations and production infrastructures on site and by showing the potential of the Turkish White Goods’ Suppliers as well as our determination about the US market. The participating companies have made a progress in accessing important contacts and product-specific information through B2B meetings.

Evaluating our 2020 USA visit as a productive and efficient trip, we would like to thank all the participants and the main industry executives for their hospitality.”

One of the biggest technology shows of the year, CES 2020 has been organized 53rd time this year and opened its doors to the new decade of technology and hosted its visitors from 7 to 10 January.

CES Consumer Electronics Show, one of the top global technology events, showcased a variety of innovations including small and big home appliances, audio technologies, smart home technologies, virtual reality devices, robots and drones to automobiles.

We visited the Show for 2 days with our BEYSAD members team of 21. This was the 3rd time we have attended this Show and it was exciting to see how impressive it has become over the years.

As a part of the main industry visits, after Las Vegas we, first of all, visited GE Appliance Park-Louisville-Kentucky on January 13, Monday. We had B2B meetings and visited GEA washing machine factory.

On January 14, Tuesday, we visited Samsung washing machine factory in Newberry-South Carolina. We were delighted and honored to see our Samsung contacts flew from South Korea to the USA for us so that we could discuss about the new Samsung events to be held in Turkey soon and how we can attract more BEYSAD members to interact with them.

On January 15, Wednesday, we visited Electrolux North Carolina HQ in Charlotte-NC where we held very productive B2B meetings with Electrolux Global Purchasing executives at the Electrolux Innovation Center.

On January 16, Thursday, we visited BSH headquarters where New Bern-NC dishwasher and oven facilities are located and held B2B meetings with BSH US purchasing executives. This event coordinated by Mr. Serkan Burak Yıldırım, with whom we collaborated before during BSH Turkey duties, was a big success.

We would like to see you at another successful event;
