Wire & Tube Fair, one of the world's leading iron and steel fairs, was held in Düsseldorf, Germany, between 15-19 April 2024. There was an influx of exhibitors and visitors from many countries of the world to the fair.

Thousands of participants and visitors from many countries of the world, especially Germany, Turkey and Italy, flocked to the fair, where participants from different countries of the world introduced their technological innovations to international professionals and industry users, and the fair lasted 5 days.

Since 1986, the fair has served as a platform that brings together industry professionals and exhibits innovative products and state-of-the-art machines. Beyond being just a product sales outlet, it aims to strengthen the sector and contribute to its development by using its innovative potential.

This year, as BEYSAD, we attended the Wire & Tube Fair, held on 15-19 April 2024, with a delegation of 13 representatives from 10 member companies on 16-18 April. At the fair, we had the opportunity to take the sectoral pulse of both our brands participating from Turkey and the world brands. While our delegation was following the innovations, communication was established with the participants at the fair to establish new business connections. We had the pleasure of being able to meet with our participating members, as well as many of our stand owners and visiting members and stakeholders.

In his evaluation of the fair visit, Mr. Sayat Çakır, Member of the Board of Directors of BEYSAD, said: "Wire & Tube coincided with the pandemic period in 2022 and although it was postponed for 3-4 months, it was dull. It was nice to see all 15 halls lively and full after two years. This long-established fair, which is the heart of the wire and pipe industry, hosted many Turkish companies and visitors especially this year. As BEYSAD, it was also a source of happiness to see the dominance of the white goods supplier industry in different sectors. It was stated that the version of the fair, which is held every two years in Düsseldorf in different countries, will also be held in Istanbul in 2025. We expect such organizations to increase so that our country can get a greater share of the fair ecosystem.

This year's fair was attended by many exhibitors and visitors from various sectors such as automotive, telecommunications, metal industry, gas and oil, electricity, construction and chemicals. Among the sectoral unions and chambers, important organizations such as the Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (ÇEBİD) and the Flat Steel Exporters and Industrialists Association (YİSAD) also supported the fair. Participants had the chance to discover the latest trends, advanced machinery and equipment, new materials and advanced processing technologies. In addition, special information about raw materials, testing techniques and changing technology was one of the highlights of the fair.

Wire & Tube Düsseldorf presented innovations in cable processing and smart production to industry professionals, especially in the cable and wire industry, allowing brands to determine their place in the world market and compete consciously. This event, where pipe raw materials and production machines, glass, fiber, concrete, ceramics, fibre, iron and non-ferrous pipes were exhibited, offered the opportunity to get to know the best in the sector and make major business agreements.
