As BEYSAD, together with our 11 members, we visited the Automatica Fair, which is held every 2 years and was reorganized this year for the first time after the pandemic.
Automatica Munich, organized by Messe Munchen, took place in Messe Munchen on 21-24 June 2022. Automatica Munich Fair, which is held every two years, is the International Automation Technologies Fair open to trade visitors.
Automatica was established in 2004 as the heart of Europe's largest Robotics and Automation market. Automatica is a networking community where participants from all branches of industry come to find future-proof solutions so that they can access more functional products. Automatica is the first international trade fair where people can see all segments of the robotics and automation division.
Visitors are presented with international products in the core areas of assembly and handling technology, robotics, industrial image processing and related technologies. It is a functional event where interested persons find all kinds of automation technologies under one roof.
At the fair, which we visited for 2 days, we were able to examine the developments in the robotics, software, industrial image processing and hardware sectors and to visit our stakeholders in the fairgrounds. While evaluating the first day of the fair calmly, we observed that the second day reached the highest number of visitors seen in previous years.
BEYSAD Chairman of the Board Ş. Burak Özaydemir made the following evaluations about the fair: “The Automatica Fair Visit, which we organized in line with the twin transformation agenda on the digital and environmental side of our industry, was productive in terms of following global trends and interacting with technology suppliers. The rapid spread of collabrative robots, the focus on energy efficiency in automation, the usability of data analytics and simulation in all steps, and the standardization of deep learning algorithms in control processes seemed to be the highlights of the fair. We find it very positive that these topics are also within the scope of our Center of Excellence project, which will be put into service soon, supported by the EU IPA Competitive Sectors program carried out as BEYSAD in cooperation with Özyeğin University and TÜSİAD and carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members who participated in our fair visit.”
We would like to thank the valuable officials of KUKA, ABB, Festo, Staubli, Visual Components officials for their hospitality and our member companies (Akplas-Akım Metal, Anot, Atasan, Edes, Endel, Konveyör, Ono, San Metal) for their participation and contribution.
