BEYSAD Ordinary Financial General Assembly meeting, held every 2 years, was held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Özyeğin University OzUBEX Hall. Communication between members was at the forefront at the meeting, which included more than 60 participants from 50 member companies.

The meeting started with the welcome speech of BEYSAD Secretary General Ayşegül Koç, a moment of silence and the National Anthem. Then, the Council Committee continued with the determined program, opening speeches, activities, income-expense tables, audit reports, and 2024 dues arrangement within the scope of the agenda.

The main lines of the speech of D. Yasemin Aksu, President of the Board of Directors of BEYSAD, who informed the members by giving a speech about BEYSAD's 2023 activities at the event, were as follows: "When we review the past period during our general assembly activities, although not a year has passed since our previous general assembly, I saw that we managed to fit many activities into a limited time.

As the new management, we set out to meet with as many of our members as possible. We had the opportunity to both bring closer the distances that were forced during the pandemic and to hear first-hand what our members experienced during the difficult period our country went through. You can find more detailed information about our activities in this year, in which we organized official institution meetings, main industry, Professional Business Travels (MIS), fairs and many other events, in our activity document.

I would like to allocate a paragraph to OzUBEX, which was established with the common opinion of BEYSAD, Özyeğin University and TÜSİAD and hosted us in our general assembly. This center, whose foundations were laid with an IPA project in 2016, came to life last year and started to contribute to our association members with the trainings, workshops and projects it carried out. Within the scope of the IPA project, digital transformation and innovation centers established in Germany and Italy were visited and SIRI analyzes were completed on 40 BEYSAD members to measure the Industry 4.0 maturity of our members. You can learn the planned activities of our center, which will be officially opened in 2024, and critical details about how to benefit from this center, from the OzUBEX team led by Dr Erinç Albey.

OzUBEX Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erinç Albey, who took the stage after D Yasemin Aksu, conveyed the latest developments from OzUBEX and talked about the successes achieved in national and international platforms. Then, Albey gave the good news that active production could start and showed the first injection mold to the audience.

Murat Önay, who assumed the Presidency of the Council Board of the General Assembly, which gained a special meaning as it coincided with March 8, International Women's Day, stated his satisfaction with the participation of BEYSAD's well-established members in the program, especially the Founding President Hasan Basri Aksu, Orhan Yeloğlu, After giving the floor to Burak Özaydemir, Erdoğan Kaya and many other members, he called all the women in the hall one by one to the podium and received their feelings and opinions.

The fact that the Ordinary Financial General Assembly coincided with a meaningful day such as March 8, International Women's Day, was appreciated by the BEYSAD Board of Directors, and a part of the event budget was donated to the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV), which was chosen in accordance with the meaning and importance of the subject. Established under the leadership of Founding President Ayşen Özyeğin, AÇEV develops and implements scientifically based education programs for children, parents and young women in need all over the country.
