White Goods Suppliers’ Association (BEYSAD) continues to prioritize member relations with its new management and new vision. The Board of Directors recently started its member visits from Eskişehir, where its members are concentrated.
The 2023-2025 Board of Directors, which took office after the general assembly on May 3, 2023, plans to work for the term with a new vision. One of the main topics of this plan is member relations. The first of the member visits, which were planned to better explain the activities of the association and to listen to the expectations of the members from the association and to take the pulse of the sector, was made to Eskişehir, where the members are concentrated, on 10-11 July 2023. During the visits attended by BEYSAD’s President of the Board Deniz Yasemin Aksu, Board Member Sayat Çakır, Board Member Eray Gönenli and BEYSAD Secretary General Ayşegül Koç; Can Conta, Boyplast, Esalba, Tanatar, Epta, Korel, Ay Plastik, Duslersan, Europen, Temiz İş and BR Dizayn were visited. The management, which also attaches importance to relations with civil society, also visited Eskişehir Chamber of Industry and Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce. In the evening, representatives from member companies met for dinner, and a very enjoyable and bond-strengthening meal was eaten together.
Deniz Yasemin Aksu, President of BEYSAD's Board of Directors, made an assessment of the visits and expressed her views as follows: “As BEYSAD's new board of directors, we started our member visits in Eskişehir, which has a great influence on Turkey becoming Europe's white goods base, in order to get to know all of our members and meet new members. During our 2-day visits, where we had one-on-one contact with 13 of our members, we also had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with Eskişehir Chamber of Industry President Celalettin Kesikbaş and Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler. Two of the topics that stand out in all our meetings (increasing financing conditions and unfinished employment gap) are also a general reflection of our industry, and as BEYSAD management, we set ourselves a task to make these situations more visible to the authorities that can provide solutions and to increase the awareness of our industry. We would like to thank all our members who opened their doors to us, and we look forward to making similar visits to all our other members.”
As BEYSAD, we sincerely thank Eray Gönenli, Member of the Board of Directors of ANOT, who hosted the program, and Sayat Çakır, Member of the Board of Directors, who accompanied us for two days.
