The new year event organized by TOSYÖV (Foundation for Members and Executives of Turkish Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Self Employment)has brought together a number of industrialists.
The TOSYÖV society has come together at the New Year Ball organized by the TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association and attended by Yalçın Sönmez, Chairman of TOSYÖV. In addition to TOSYÖV members, non-governmental organizations, representatives of the organized industrial zones and members of the business and academic circles which are associated with TOSYÖV attended the event.
The TOSYÖV New Year Event was organized by the TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association on 22 December 2010 and brought together industrialists. The ball was held at the Bridge Restaurant in Nakkaştepe, Istanbul and attended by Yalçın Sönmez, Chairman of TOSYÖV, Osman Deveci, Vice-Chairman of TOSYÖV, Süleyman Karadağ, Chairman of TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association, Nurdan Sönmez, General Coordinator of KobiEfor, Murat Önay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone, Hasan Danişment and Besim Oktayer, Vice-Chairmen of BEYSAD, Orhan Yeloğlu, Hasan Basri Aksu, Uğur Özgüç and Murat Fırat, members of the Board of Directors of BEYSAD, as well as members of the business and academic circles. An artist from Bitlis took stage at the event and song Turkish folk music. New members of the TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association received plaques at the event. A new year draw was made and different gifts were distributed to guests. The guests all danced together at the event which was finalized in a very friendly environment.
Yalçın Sönmez, Chairman of TOSYÖV, who took stage at the outset of the event, said that TOSYÖV was continuing to organize SME Summits which turned into traditional events. He further added that they were still working on the VII. SME Summit to be held in March 2011 by TOSYÖV and they were making efforts to internationalize the event.
Süleyman Karadağ, Chairman of TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association, told that the TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association took the decision to establish an economic enterprise at its Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting on 2 October 2010. Noting that their accreditation with the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) and Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK), which was required by KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development Organization) to make available consultancy and training support, would be completed as of the end of January 2011, Süleyman Karadağ said, “Our association will help SMEs that receive consultancy and training from us use financial supports made available by KOSGEB as well as 50% grant. Instructors and consultants who are among our members will be able to offer services to SMEs without any need to complete accreditation before TSE and TÜRKAK."
Hasan Danişment, Vice-Chairman of BEYSAD said they were willing to make cooperation with the TOSYÖV Istanbul Support Association and wished everyone a happy and prosperous new year.
