Organized by the Electrical and Electronics Exporters’ Association (TET) in collaboration with BEYSAD (White Goods Suppliers Association), the Samsung Turkish Sourcing Fair was held on Monday, February 9, 2026, between 09:30 – 16:30.

BEYSAD Chairwoman D. Yasemin Aksu, as an organizational partner, delivered an opening welcome speech at the event. She also highlighted BEYSAD’s journey with Samsung:

  • It began in 2016 with visits to South Korea, where we witnessed the history of technology at the Samsung Innovation Museum.
  • Later, in Poland, we strengthened relations through mutual presentations and factory tours. In 2019, at the Global Sourcing Fair held at Istanbul Hilton Bomonti, 32 BEYSAD member companies met with 50 Samsung officials from different countries.
  • That same year, we visited Samsung factories in India in cooperation with TET.
  • In 2020, during CES Las Vegas, we visited Samsung’s washing machine factory in the U.S. and held meetings with global procurement officials.
  • Most recently, in 2025, within the scope of our TURKHAS-3 URGE project, we conducted high-level meetings at Samsung headquarters in Japan and South Korea.
  • Following this event, the next meeting will again take place under the TURKHAS project, with a visit to Samsung’s factory in the U.S. during the KBIS Fair, about a week later.

Each of these encounters enabled our members to explore global production networks, create new business opportunities, and enhance their international competitiveness.

The opening program began with a speech by TET Board Member Ş. Burak Özaydemir, followed by Yasemin Aksu, and concluded with a detailed presentation by Samsung Procurement Specialist Matthew Sin. Afterwards, B2B meetings commenced.

This closed B2B event brought together Samsung’s global sourcing and procurement teams with Turkish component manufacturers. Applications were evaluated by Samsung, and only approved companies were included in the bilateral business meetings.

Applications were particularly encouraged from companies producing plastic, metal, or electronic components for the white goods and electronics sectors. However, applications for all types of components and parts related to products listed on Samsung’s official website were also accepted and reviewed.

The targeted application areas covered the following product groups:

  • White Goods: Washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, ovens, etc.
  • Mobile Products: Smartphones, tablets, wearable technologies
  • Display Systems: Televisions, monitors
