The biennial BEYSAD Ordinary Financial General Assembly meeting was held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea. With 110 participants from 64 member companies and additional attendees from Section 2, approximately 150 people joined the meeting, where BEYSAD’s spirit of family friendship was once again at the forefront.

The meeting began with a welcome speech by BEYSAD General Secretary Mrs. Ayşegül Koç, followed by a moment of silence and the National Anthem. Guided by the Chair of the Assembly, BEYSAD Chairwoman Ms. D. Yasemin Aksu was invited to the podium to address the guests regarding the association’s activities. The Assembly then continued with the planned agenda, including opening speeches, activity reports, income-expense statements, audit reports, the 2026 membership fee regulation, and other related matters.

Highlighting BEYSAD’s 2025 activities, Chairwoman Mrs. D. Yasemin Aksu stated:

“As we leave another year behind, we are pleased to have completed an intense, productive, and strategically significant period for our association. The year 2025 has been a milestone not only in terms of the number of activities but also in their content, inclusiveness, and added value, advancing BEYSAD’s institutional maturity.

On this occasion, we extend our sincere gratitude to our General Secretary, Board Members, all members actively involved in association activities, our main industry partners, and esteemed stakeholders for their contributions and trust.

Our General Assembly held in 2025 has been a strong indicator of our transparent, participatory, and collective management approach. The high level of member participation reflects the trust and sense of belonging to BEYSAD.

Furthermore, BEYSAD’s representation across different platforms and meetings throughout the year has strengthened the association’s visibility and influence within the sector.

With the initiative of Young BEYSAD Members, designed as an investment in the future of our association, young leaders of our members were encouraged to share their sectoral experiences. Four interviews were featured in our publications during the year. In addition, BEYSAD’s activities were regularly and visibly shared through press releases, digital platforms, and web communication.

The year 2025 has been one in which BEYSAD focused not only on today’s needs but also on the transformation themes of the future. I believe that our work in the fields of digital transformation, green transition, and international cooperation will deepen and continue in the coming period.

We once again thank you for the trust and support you have shown to our association and invite all our members, stakeholders, and sector representatives to actively participate in BEYSAD’s activities.”

At the end of the event, plaques were presented to new members during the “Wishes and Recommendations” section. Following the plaque ceremony, heartfelt member speeches were delivered, as in every year.

The second part of the meeting, attended by distinguished representatives of the main industry (Arçelik, BSH, Vestel, Teka…) and BEYSAD Friends, began with an emotional short film by documentary director and producer Mr. Nebil Özgentürk.

This was followed by an interactive and enjoyable conversation accompanying Özgentürk’s speech titled “From the Republic… From the Homeland… Memories… A Century-Long Journey Across Industry and Life.”

We sincerely thank all our members who made this day meaningful, our distinguished guest speaker Mr. Nebil Özgentürk for sharing valuable insights, as well as the main industry representatives and BEYSAD Friends for their participation.
