Organized for valuable BEYSAD members and shareholders, the Economic Outlook Conference was held on Friday, November 29 at Istanbul Marriot Hotel Asia and attended by approximately 165 individuals.

The program began with the opening speech given by BEYSAD‘s President D. Yasemin Aksu and continued under the moderation of BEYSAD’s Secretary General Ayşegül Koç.

In these difficult times we are going through, we discussed the economy and exchanged information. The event was attended by esteemed Main Industry officials (including Arçelik, BSH, Vestel, Haier, and Teka) and BEYSAD Friends and was very productive.

BEYSAD‘s President D. Yasemin Aksu expressed her views on the conference as follows. “We would like to thank all our shareholders for the great interest shown in the BEYSAD Economic Outlook Conference, which we organized for the first time this year. We seized important opportunities from the input of the officials of our sister sectors at times; and the broad framework provided by TÜRKBESD shed light on all of us. Thanks to the presentation of the esteemed economist Prof. Dr. Selva Demiralp, we gained valuable insights on how we can interpret the current and near future course of the economies of the USA, the European Union, and Turkey. We were very pleased to see sincere exchange among our members, key industry officials, İSKİD and KESİD participants, and our sponsors. We wish to see all our shareholders at future events where we provide a socializing environment for the participants and that we strive to organize based on what is needed."
