BEYSAD Board Members visited Samsung Electronics Poland Production Facilities in Poland on June 12, 2019 upon the invitation of Samsung Electronics executives in order to improve supply activities from Turkey.

In the past months, BEYSAD - Samsung cooperation took off during Samsung executives’ visit to Turkey and with the meeting between BEYSAD Board Member Mr. Hasan Okyar Bayraktar and Samsung by their invitation at the London Headquarters.   

The agenda of the meeting in Poland started by refreshing information exchange between Samsung and BEYSAD. The main agenda topic was the organization of the “Sourcing Fair” event to be held in July by the participation of Samsung and BEYSAD members to be selected by Samsung and developing other similar collaborations. Next, BEYSAD Board Members toured the showroom, the refrigerator factory, and lastly the washing machine factory. The program ended with dinner.

BEYSAD’s request for an appointment from Amica Wronki S.A. that is situated in the same location got accepted and thereby, we had the chance to improve the potential of Amica-BEYSAD cooperation that started in the past few years, meet with the New Sourcing Director Mr. Michal Wichlacz, and congratulate him on his new position. The program started with a briefing and update on Amica and continued with a conversation and Q&A session. A pre-interview was carried out to talk about an event to be held on the components they need and they stated they wish the continuation of our cooperation.

We believe that these pre-interviews will be transformed into productive events to involve our members.
